Abuja-based hospital says social media reports are false, insists King Mitchy was never admitted to its facility.
Prime Care Hospital has firmly debunked circulating rumours alleging that social media personality Miss Mukoro Mitchelle, widely known as King Mitchy, died at its Abuja facility.
In a strongly worded disclaimer posted on its official Instagram page, the hospital described the reports as completely false and misleading, stressing that King Mitchy was never admitted to its Abuja branch.
“The management of Prime Care Hospitals wishes to inform the general public that the announcement of the alleged death of Miss Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, at our facility in Abuja is FALSE,” the statement said.
The hospital further clarified that King Mitchy was neither a patient nor did she pass away at any of its facilities, dismissing the viral claim as baseless.
Prime Care Hospital disclosed that it has commenced investigations in collaboration with relevant authorities to identify the source of the misinformation. Management also warned that legal action would be taken against individuals or platforms found responsible for spreading the false report.
“We are working with the appropriate authorities to trace the origin of this misinformation and will take all necessary legal steps against those involved,” the statement concluded.
