The Nigerian reality TV personality ends his turbulent marriage to fellow 90 Day Fiancé star Angela Deem, bringing a dramatic chapter of their cross-continental relationship to a close.
Michael Ilesanmi, the Nigerian reality television personality known for his appearance on the hit TLC franchise 90 Day Fiancé, has officially finalised his divorce from his estranged wife and co-star, Angela Deem, after a prolonged legal dispute that lasted nearly two years.
The couple first met in 2018 during the second season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, where their unconventional long-distance relationship quickly became one of the most talked-about storylines on the show.
Despite frequent public disagreements and cultural differences highlighted on the reality series, the pair eventually tied the knot in 2020.
A major turning point in their relationship came in December 2023 when Ilesanmi finally relocated from Nigeria to the United States to live with Deem in Jefferson County, Georgia — a move that followed years of visa challenges and immigration hurdles.
However, the marriage soon deteriorated, leading to a bitter separation and an extended legal battle that ultimately ended with the finalisation of their divorce.
The conclusion of the case marks the end of one of the most controversial relationships in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, which had drawn significant attention from fans due to the couple’s frequent disputes both on and off screen.
